“It’s one hundred years from today, and everyone who is listening to this is dead. I’m dead. You’re dead. And some kid is taking a music course in junior high, and maybe he’s listening to the Velvet Underground because he’s got to write a report on classical rock'n'roll, and I wonder what that kid is thinking? I wish they would invent a machine that could find out everyone’s biggest secret - yours and mine and Lou Reed’s. The difference between movies and rock'n'roll is that rock'n'roll doesn’t lie. It never promises a happy ending. Here comes the ending.”

Unearthed footage of stripped back duo formation of Black Time having California fun during the last, desperate stand of the original black time 5 year plan. Lemmy Caution and Mr Stix still talk shit and laugh at each other, but it’s mainly just down the pub these days (well it was until they all shut anyway). Thanks to KFJC for having us and Andy Larsen for everything. Setlist: Black Time Theme / Cast A Shadow (Beat Happening) / You Make Me / (I’m In The) Fascist Bathroom / Consumers / Asleep At The Wheel / Link Wray

Just realised when logging in here that I completely spaced on posting my tedious end-of-year list at the end of 2019. I think the world will cope without it! Cannot remember all my faves from last year now but I definitely listened to this otherworldly Angel Bat Dawid LP more than any other, such a great record.
