There’s a fucking great Dion cover on this LP (“Your Own Backyard”) - check out the Dion original as well - amazing song on the amazing Phil Spector produced LP from 1975 (not sure if I crammed enough superlatives into that sentence). This LP wasn’t produced by Phil Spector, it was produced by Guy Stevens, another legendary loon - look him up - crazy guy, crazy career. If I didn’t have hands like dinner plates and it took me less than 6 months to work cover versions out, I would totally do a Mott The Hoople cover band for Halloween called the Brain Caper Kids. We’d all wear masks and have big brains on the outside like the Martians in Mars Attacks. I’d need a Maltese Cross guitar as well.
